This paper presents part of the results of a PhD research aimed to verify the contributions ofimages for Science Teaching. For displaying such imagery, it was necessary to use information and communication technology available in Parana state school, such as the computer and the digital board. Thus, by means of an instructional sequence and an investigation of a qualitative nature developed by researcherteacher, it was found that such technological devices are resources that can potentially contribute to the processes that involve the teaching and learning concepts wave and studies of the light ofphysical course discipline. In this sense, we believe that it is necessary to create ways for these resources, so important nowadays, operated more efficiently, giving conditions for that technology can contribute to the construction of significant knowledge
