This work is a cut from the dissertation "The use of computational animations in initial teacher training: an alternative to improve chemistry teaching". The objective of this Experience Report is to present the training of chemistry graduates, who participate in the Uirapuru Project, by the Institutional Program of the Initiation to Teaching Grant, within the scope of the Federal Institute of Education of Amazonas, in the construction of animations in Power Point software. During the workshop, licensees manipulated softwaretools, built laboratory glasswareand performed effects by building animations aimed at teaching chemistry. It was verified that 100% of the graduates believe that the animations created can be used as a resource for teaching chemistry and inferred that they would use this resource in their classes. It is concluded that the development of animations contributes positively to the teacher training of those who construct / use the resource and collaborates in the construction of chemical concepts by the students, generating significant learning.
